Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms apply to all your transactions with Select Insulation. In the following, ‘you’ means the
individual, partnership or corporation to whom goods and/or services may be supplied. ‘We’ and ‘us’
and ‘our’ mean Select Insulation Pty Ltd ABN 48 665 353 006.
These terms of sale apply to all purchases of goods and services from Select Insulation. Additional
terms of sale apply to specific classes of goods and services. These additional terms of sale may be
attached to quotations, estimates, price lists and other documents and are also available on request
or at our website http://selectinsulation.com.au


By ordering goods or services from us, you agree that;

  1. Pricing. The price is the price current at the time of delivery plus freight, handling and GST, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  2. Pallets. Pallets remain Select Insulation's property, unless quoted and paid for by you as per the pallet pricing listed on the delivery schedule.
  3. Stock Ownership. Select Insulation retain ownership of the goods until they are paid for in-full. Goods supplied to you remain the property until we receive payment for all the amounts owed to us. If your account is in default, we have the right to regain ownership of the products by entering your premises or those of any affiliated companies or agents without incurring any trespassing or damage-related liabilities.
  4. Liability. As soon as the goods are delivered or collected, they are at your risk. Any claim or loss resulting from the loading, transporting, or unloading of products that you picked up in person or after delivery is not our responsibility.
  5. Warranties. Written warranties are available for the goods we are selling unless we expressly state otherwise. Please refer to the product warranty guide for further information.
  6. Delivery. Select Insulation will deliver goods to the delivery address listed on your order. We will unload the goods on the curbside at the delivery site. Unless you request that we unload the goods elsewhere (i.e. hidden out of sight behind a wall) and the carriers agree that the site access is safe and acceptable.
  7. Waiting Times. Waiting time fees apply (please refer to delivery schedule) if the carrier is delayed at your site for more than one hour for reasons beyond the carrier’s control. If the carrier cannot identify the site because the delivery address is inadequate, the goods will be returned to store and you will be charged cartage. We may also charge a restocking fee as per the delivery schedule. You indemnify us and our carrier against any claim for damages resulting from the entry of the carrier’s vehicle onto the delivery site.
  8. Claims. Credit claim requests will be considered if they are related to the following:
    a. A delivery or billing error on our part; or
    b. Defects or damage affecting at least 5% of the delivered goods.
    We must be advised of all claims by telephone within 48 hours of delivery and in writing
    within 7 days of delivery. We reserve the right to inspect stock on site before agreeing to a
    credit claim. Communication of approved credit claims via email must be sent by us before
    the credit claim can be approved and processed.
  9. Goods Returns. Select Insulation will accept, at its discretion the return of product within 2 days of the original supply date if the product and packaging are not damaged and in a resalable condition. Special order and non-stock items cannot be returned unless Select Insulation is at fault. A restocking fee of 10% +GST invoice value and return freight charges apply. If you decide to return stock at your own delivery cost, the 10% +GST restocking fee still applies.
  10.  Special Orders. Special (non-standard, non-stocked) product orders must be confirmed, agreed and signed by the customer prior to the procurement and/or manufacture of goods. Special product orders are unable to be returned unless Select Insulation is at fault.
